Any of our stones can be finished to the kitchen you want: edge, surface, splash, cut-outs. Ask in the showroom; most of it’s a question on the template.
Straight (eased), bevel, bullnose, half-bullnose, ogee, or a mitred 2-inch edge for a thick modern look. Waterfall ends on islands run the stone down to the floor.
Polished for the classic gloss, honed for a low-sheen matte, leathered for a textured surface that hides fingerprints on the dark colours.
A 4-inch splash from the same slab, or a full-height stone backsplash behind the range so the pattern continues up the wall. Both cut from your slab.
Undermount sink cut-outs polished on the inside edge, drop-in and flush-mount cooktops, faucet and soap-dispenser holes to your fixtures.
Seating overhangs up to the stone’s limit, properly supported; islands laid out so any seam lands where you’ll never see it.
Old laminate, tile or glued-down granite removed on install day and hauled away. Quoted as a line so you can see it.
Installation
Meticulous measuring, clear communication, and an install day that ends with a clean kitchen, trusted by hundreds of Calgary homeowners.

We measure once the cabinets are in and level, confirm sink and cooktop positions, and lay out seams. The firm quote follows.
Cut, edged and polished in our own NE Calgary shop, usually inside two weeks.
One day for most kitchens. Old tops out, new tops in, seams filled and polished, natural stone sealed, kitchen cleaned.
Maintenance
Natural stone is sealed when we install it, but that’s only half the battle. Warm water and dish soap for daily cleaning; a pH-neutral stone cleaner for the rest; never Clorox wipes, bleach or oven cleaner on any stone. Granite and marble get resealed every one to three years; quartz is never sealed at all.
Any question about care, call us. We would rather spend two minutes on the phone than see a countertop we cut treated badly.

Template (measure) to install is usually one to two weeks. The install itself is a day for most kitchens; a single vanity top can be ready in a few business days. If you’re also replacing cabinets, we template after the cabinets are in and level.
Yes. Removal and disposal are quoted with the job, including old granite that was glued down. Our crew has pulled plenty out without damaging the cabinets underneath.
For a 35–60 sq ft kitchen, installed: about $1,900–$6,600 in granite, $2,500–$7,800 in quartz and $2,800–$9,000 in marble. Removal, a new undermount sink and a backsplash are the usual extras. The countertop prices in Calgary page breaks down what moves the number.
A level-1 granite or a mid-range quartz. Both last the life of the kitchen; granite is a touch cheaper and takes hot pans, quartz needs no sealing. Marble costs more and asks more of you: beautiful, but not the budget answer.
Yes. Email us a rough sketch with measurements (or just the length of each run) and a photo of your cabinets, and we’ll send a ballpark for two or three colours. The firm price comes after we template on site. There’s no charge for either.
